Light The Next Beam collects ideas for what our community could build next. Here's what we keep, in plain words.
Sharing an idea
We save the idea you write and your first name, if you choose to give it. No account is needed. Ideas are reviewed first, and only approved ideas appear on the public Idea Board, along with your first name if you shared one.
Offering to help
When you tap I'd Help Make This Happen, we save each option you pick (Build It, Support It, Use It), plus your first name if you give it. The board shows only a total count of people ready to help, never names.
Contact info
Giving an email or phone number is optional, and we only save it if you check the consent box. Only the organizers can see it, and we use it only to connect you about that idea. It is never shown publicly.
Spam protection
To stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled, one-way code based on your network. It cannot be traced back to you, and it is only used to limit how many times someone can submit in an hour.
Your choices
To have your idea or contact info removed, reach out to the organizers and we will delete it.
